PH Up

There is no perfect pH. Higher values facilitate cation absorption and lower values help anion absorption : each pH level has compromises. The safest recommended average value is 5.5 to 6.5. Our advice is to stay in the lower part : 5.5 to 6.2.

Controls pH and raises silica levels at the same time

While raising the pH seems absurd for growers in areas with hard water, it is a real problem with very fresh water or reverse osmosis. Terra Aquatica pH+ allows you this adaptation, and offers you an excellent source of Silicate - which is often missing in hydroponics because of its very low solubility. Adequate levels of silicate make a great contribution to the health of the plant and therefore we include it in products when we can.
